Surreal images appear straight from the pages of a fairy tale

Stockholm-based photographer Beata Cervin ventures deep into fairy tale territory with her Magic series, spotted on My Modern Met. The photos have a distinctly light and airy feeling, and Beata expands upon the motif by incorporating balloons, feathers, butterflies and beams of light. The protagonist is a gorgeous pixie-like subject, who floats away in sweeping landscapes, and sits idly indoors dreaming. The effects are utterly surreal -- and appropriately magical.

Looking forward to seeing more from this young photographer.
