Common Threads

  • Posted by on December 11, 2009 in Fashion
  • Patagonia has never been one to follow the pack when it comes to greening business operations. The Ventura, CA company’s Common Threads Garment Recycling program, which transforms unusable garments into new clothing, is a great example. Launched in 2005, Common Threads accepts worn out fleece (from any manufacturer), as well as Patagonia cotton T-shirts and some additional polyester and nylon products that come with a Common Threads tag, for recycling into new wear.
