Crate Stool by Segev Moisa

  • Posted by SHFT on September 12, 2011 in Design
  • Ah the trusty milk crate, always there to perform whatever purpose demanded of it. Whether used by a college student as a cheap storage alternative, or by an old school DJ to haul records, milk crates have always done lots of different tasks.

Another obvious one is seating. Flip 'em over, and milk crates make for quick and easy stools. It's this purpose that Israeli designer Segev Moisa expands upon with his Crate Stool. Moisa updates the makeshift seating by weaving natural fibers into the crate, improving both comfort and look.

No word on availability, but we're loving these.
