Lara Alegre: Norge

  • Posted by Neil Simonton on January 16, 2011 in Art
  • Born and raised in the sunny climes of northern Spain, Lara Alegre spent last year in the wintry reaches of Norway, an experience that changed her photography in several ways.

"I started a new kind of photography, focused on nature, which I find incredible and surprising. In this new stage I try to show in my pictures the relationship between nature and humans: the immensity and the concrete, the seen and the unseen, the whole and the void."

Alegre's frigid travel pics are available in book form from Atem Books, and you can see the whole Norwegian photo set on her Flickr.
