In this photo project commissioned by the women's fashion mavens at Aritzia, globetrotting photographer Randy Martin continues with his gorgeous depictions of lonely figures in epic landscapes [previously]. The project took Randy and one of his best friends to far-away lands such as Kashmir, a place that Indians call "Paradise on Earth." As he explains:
It's not frequented by tourists, and as a result, it feels like one of the most culturally undisturbed places I've every visited. It's endlessly green. Pristine rivers that you can drink from flow through the small towns. Waking up every morning to the fresh mountain air and going to sleep at night with prayer bells sounding in the distance were my start and end to each surreal day in a land I won't soon forget.
Randy's photos can currently be seen on a collectible line of Artizia shopping bags.
