Paper Sculptures by Valerie Buess

  • Posted by SHFT on February 19, 2012 in Art
  • Switzerland-born, Germany-based artist Valerie Buess takes sculpting with paper to stunning and surprising new places. For the better part of twenty years, Buess has been creating unique paper sculptures that are simultaneously abstract and representational, looking like alien objects from some mysterious underwater world. What you see above is just a small sampling; there's plenty of eye candy to view on her site, so take some time to have a look and prepare to be amazed.
