Like everyone else who has ever owned a camera, we've taken a lot of pictures of clouds in our lives. But none have ever been quite so epic as any in this collection from German photographer Rüdiger Nehmzow. Why? Because, unlike Nehmzow, we've never shot clouds through an open airplane door. Also, we aren't good photographers. So there's that, too.
The Dusseldorf-based picture-taker has a massive body of editorial work that includes stunning photos of an Egyptian wind farm and of various hydro projects around the world.
For more, here's a YouTube video documenting the process behind Nehmsow's cloud project (skip ahead to 2:30).
