Rabbit Island

  • Posted by SHFT on September 12, 2011 in Architecture
  • Rabbit Island is a 90 acre forested island on Lake Superior, the largest body of fresh water in the world. Last year, Rob Gorski and Andrew Ranville bought it off of Craigslist (!). Their goal: To build an Artist Residency where the only distractions are lapping waves and open sky. To that end the pair ran a Kickstarter to fund the project. With some quality gear from Best Made Co., Rob and Andrew have almost completed construction of the small cabin that will be used by resident visual artists, musicians, and writers.

Amazing project. Learn more at their site, check out photos on Flickr, and like 'em on Facebook.
