    • Judging from these pictures, Kevin Cooley is up on his art history. Taken from two Cooley series -- Found Landscape and Iceland (yes, Iceland again) -- the photos combine the awestruck man-in-nature motif of Romantic landscape painting with the mysterious weirdness of Surrealism. He pulls it off through careful lighting, creating a cinematic sort of suspense and tension. It's some breathtaking work.
