Surrealist Photography by Martin Marcisovsky

  • Posted by SHFT on September 3, 2012 in Photography
  • Dublin-based photographer Martin Marcisovsky creates dreamy, surrealistic imagery using what must be some serious photo editing chops. These selections, taken from his Creative Edit series, look like what might happen if Caspar David Friedrich met Salvador Dali in a darkroom. Martin combines the lonely-figure-in-sublime-landscape motif -- so common in Romantic painting -- with a surrealist angle to create images that look like stills from a dream.
