Founded over ten years ago by the husband-and-wife team of Dan and Jill O'Brien, Wild Idea Buffalo Co. raises free-range, grass-fed bison near the South Dakota Badlands. Dan, a wildlife biologist and environmental activist, turned to buffalo ranching as a means for restoring the depleting grasslands he has always called home. Today, with more and more people eating with their health and the planet's in mind, business is good.
Buffalo is widely regarded as a healthy meat option with high-protein and low-fat content, and Wild Idea takes it a step further with free-roaming, grass-fed animals that have none of the hormones or antibiotics commonly used in the cattle industry.
For the company's June promotion, buyers are being offered a steal of a deal on a bunch of cuts of Wild Idea buffalo meat, from rib-eyes and T-bones to sausages and burgers. Act now to get in on the action before the promo expires.
