Tiny Sydney

Hidden away deep below the equator, Sydney, Australia is often overlooked as one of the world’s great cities. But it really is, and if you’ve never been there, we strongly recommend adding it to your list. Proof of the city’s supreme awesomeness can be found in this stunner of a time-lapse video from Filippo Rivetti — a Milano transplant who now calls Sydney home. With a commission from Expedia, Rivetti spent a summer week capturing tilt-shift footage of the city’s famed landmarks, from the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House to bustling Bondi Beach. The tilt-shift technique is much used and abused (so is time-lapse, for that matter), but Rivetti nailed it with this one. Watch above.
