Jo Peel: Things Change

  • Optimistic stop-motion street art in London

  • Tags:

For "Things Change," UK artist and Scrawl Collective member Jo Peel spent three weeks filming herself while painting an outdoor mural at Village Underground in London. Using stop-motion animation, she then condensed the footage into a pleasing three-minute clip with a pointed eco message.

"[It's] an optimistic look at the idea of human impermanence," she writes. "The buildings and debris created by the human exploitation of our natural environment decay and give way to the force of nature once again."
