Benoit Paille has a knack for making run-of-the-mill places on earth seem like strange landscapes from some faraway planet. First we had his eerily lit Alternative Landscapes, then it was his super-saturated skyward shots of forests at night, now we have Winter Walk, a collection of snowy landscape images shot around his home in Quebec after a winter storm. With no retouching, Paille captures the weird stillness of nighttime snowfall using innovative angles and different types of lighting.
