Camera in Motion: Photos by Rolf Sachs

  • Posted by SHFT on January 13, 2015 in Photography
  • The train route from Chur, Switzerland to Tirano, Italy traverses snow-capped mountains, forested expanses and quaint alpine villages. London-based artist and designer Rolf Sachs takes us with him along this dramatic passage in "Camera in Motion," a collection of photographs shot from a moving train. Sachs shot 12,000 photos in the span of a year during his trips between the two cities, with each image titled only by the date and time.

"Camera in Motion: From Chur to Tirano" is on view at Galerie Andrea Caratsch in St. Moritz, Switzerland until April 7.
