Danmark: Photos by Bettina Gal

  • Posted by Neil Simonton on September 28, 2012 in Photography
  • In 2011, Hungarian graphic designer and photographer Bettina Gal packed up and moved to Denmark for half a year. Luckily for our eyeballs, she documented her stay in these photos posted to Behance, which we had to post since we are suckers for epic landscape photography that incorporates smart type design.

The photos feature simple Danish words and phrases ("love," "sorry," "see you," etc.) that nicely capture the melancholy mood of the series. Multiple exposures, some of them flipped upside-down, amplify the dreamy vibe.

As one Behance commenter says of the Danmark series, "Det er rigtigt, rigtigt flot." That's Danish for "It's really, really nice."

    We rigtigt agree.
