  • Here's a cool project from the forward thinkers at Project M.

For a meagre $100, Nada Bike sends you membership card in the form of an unpainted, bare-bones track bike frame. Then you dress it up however you see fit.

Nada's goal is to empower people to reconsider urban transportation and shift to more sustainable ways of getting around.

It's also an online community - the social networking aspect allows people to gather knowledge and know-how on bike building. Conversation in the community also helps Nada fulfill its mission of getting people out of cars and onto bikes.

The project is currently in the running for a Pepsi Refresh Everything grant. Help these guys in their quest. Vote HERE for Nada Bike. Hurry up, ballots close this Sunday!
