Nich Hance McElroy: How to be Alone

  • Posted by SHFT on October 18, 2013 in Photography
  • As a Masters candidate in English with a degree in Classics, Nich Hance McElroy [previously] knows plenty about myths involving intrepid heroes. Whether intentional or not, the literary vibrations shine through in his pictures, as you can see from these selections from his How to be Alone series. Like scenes from a movie about a mythical vision quest, the photos depict strange encounters and sublime vistas on a journey into the mystic.

Nich is based in Vancouver, Canada, and attends the University of British Columbia (go Thunderbirds). Highly recommend that you also check out his Thirteenth Month series, and Tumblr-ers can follow his blog over here.
