Pacific Adventures with Hanna Scott

  • Tofino, British Columbia local Hanna Scott is a talented surfer who has earned contest stripes as winner in both the long- and shortboard categories in the Queen of the Peak, the annual women's surf contest held in the freezing waters off Vancouver Island. She is also an excellent photographer, as we happily learned when we stumbled upon her website, The Weekend For Now. A look through some of her photos reveals her love of fun, friends, and experiences in the outdoors.

"I love to surf and skateboard which has inspired me to travel, always with a camera and some film, to many different places around world," she says.

To see some of her work in the water, watch this short clip of Hanna and fellow Roxy rider Cath Bruhwiler catching early winter waves in the frigid waters near Tofino.
