These colorful, heart-shaped garlands are hand-stitched and beaded from recycled clothing scraps by a small group of women in the town of Yjutlan, near Oaxaca, Mexico. Inspired by milagros found in Oaxaca’s Basilica de la Soledad, the one-of-a-kind hearts are strung into garlands and wrapped around handmade paper created by local artisans.
