Amazon Gets Green Light To Test Drones In The US

  • From Our Good Friends At Collectively

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) just gave Amazon the green light to test its drones to deliver packages. But the Seattle-based company will have to comply with strict regulations to do so. Don't expect to see a drone delivering your next care package from Mom; the testing will be done in a rural, sparsely populated area of Washington state. While some see the drones as a step forward in terms of lessening the environmental repercussions of Amazon's shipping and delivery services, others see it as potential threats to privacy and security. What do you think of Amazon's adoption of drones for delivery?
