The Swedish sisters in First Aid Kit have unveiled a video for “My Silver Lining,” the lead single from their just-released album Stay Gold. Directed by Elliott Sellers, the spooky clip was shot in a mansion in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, and features the harmonizing sisters driving in a car with an invisible driver and shooting lightning from their fingertips.
“We wanted to create an intriguing and mysterious world where everything is slightly off and the mansion slowly comes to life,” they said in a statement. “The idea of things in life changing, even scaring you, but still having to carrying on despite it all is a theme in the song, which we wanted to convey in the video.”
Stay Gold is out now on Columbia.
